what to eat now?
had my 3rd followup blood test post-needle stick injury. and decided since i was getting a needle might as well have some "routine" bloods done on myself. so ran off a FBC, EUC, CMP, LFT and TFT.the results are all normal, except for one. (surprisingly, i am NOT thyrotoxic, so another explanation has to be found for my anxiety, irritability, slight tachycardia, hyperphagia and weight loss).
The one test that is abnormal is the protein level. I had a reading of 88 (normal range is: 63 - 84). what does that mean? i dunno. an elevated protein level on the LFT is usually something i ignore. now, i've got it myself and i'm a tiny bit concerned. why should my level be outside 95% of the normal population!?!
does a high protein leve indicated too much protein intake? i'm already aiming for a low-fat, low-carbonhydrate diet for health reasons, although failing miserably, so now i'm supposed to take less protein?!? give up eggs and meat? what else is there left to eat now? depressing...
