pre-employment attachment
*the hospital* is giving us an opportunity to spend a few days with a team similar to the one we will be on in term 1. i will be spending 1-2 days on the orthopaedics team this week. its 7:30am - at least 5pm. This will be my working hours next year, well, at least term 1. Plus unrostered and rostered overtime (including weekends).I am doing this so that just in case i become inundated with info on Orientation week and end up not remembering anything, at least I will know where the Blood Bank is, where radiology is, what forms to use, on Day One, when the registras will be in theatre and i will be left on my own looking after all the post-op patients.
