Proverbs 3:5-6
A lot of the time, i rely on my own "wisdom" and reasoning to make decisions. Sometimes, i pride myself on making the "right" decisions or being self-sufficient in certain circumstances. Other times, I refrain from doing things i think i can't handle, agonise over things i fail to achieve.
But why should i do so, when our Lord God, the creator of the universe, the one with the only true wisdom, the one with our best interesting at at, offers to take care of us? I should rely on Him for all things, for He knows what's best for me. Practically, i still need to make decisions. But the decision making process, the weighing out of the pros and cons, should be proceeded by much praying and be based on what's godly. And how do i know what's godly and what's not? by good knowledge of His Word.
