i like getting blood on my trousers (or my hands, or my feet) ~ this happens more than half the time I get a cannula in and NEVER happens when i miss the vein. so it's a good sign!!

double the patient load means double the work load for this week. finished at 2130hours tonight even though i wasn't doing rostered overtime. thankfully i've not developed a tolerance against caffeine since i've always deliberately restricted my coffee intake so that when i need the the caffeine it will actually work.
