next term
finally got my simplified roster for next term. first week ED (again) at a different, less far, but equally small (if not smaller) hospital (which means still no trauma cases, prob not even broken hips), then 7 days of nights, followed by a week off(!), then 7 nights, a week off, back to the ED for a wk, and 4-weeks annual leave! Apparently, i was told, it's a very good roster to have for a relief term. Hooray! glad that i am not doing nights at the principal/tertiary hospital, cos doing nights there would be like nightmare with your eyes open. but then, i would like to be stretched a bit. reckon so far i've been having it easy.still don't know what to do with my annual leave. the usual destination of a city in China + a few days in Singapore or Malaysia or Thailand. after consulting several people as to which of the 3 SE Asian countries, i am still undecided. I will be going with mum. We don't wanna climb mountains or cross rivers and I don't wanna do any shopping. I'd like to see culture, whatever that involves. i don't mind being a bit adventurous, but don't wanna drag mum into any trouble. basically, i'm a bit of bored going to the same place for my overseas holidays every time.
i think i'd still like to teach Mando this year, but which these irregular shifts i don't want to advertise about a "class" without a regular weekday time slot. besides, the location will be a problem. oh well, have to wait till i come back from overseas.
