senselessness or bravery?
i blog on a similar topic last yr after i cannulated a 2 month old without an sense of unease.and when i took my mum to the local ED after she complained of chest tightness last Saturday, i went onto cannulating her. The fact is the AMC graduate missed once (probably cos I was in the room, although i made it obvious that i wasn't looking so he could relax) and i didn't want my mum to suffer further unnecessary stabs. So when he asked if i'd like to try, i didn't think twice.
but this is from a girl that gave herself yearly deepsubcut/IM fluvax 2 years in a roll.
