Day 2
started off today thinking that it'd be better than yesterday since both my regs were around, but by 10am, one of my regs went to, what he calls, "bone school" (orthopaedic college, i think) and the other one was busy seeing new patients and operating. So i was again left on my own running around ordering investigations, finding imagings, doing pre-admission, etc.had to call my reg on his mobile at 7:30pm to get clearance to chart therapeutic clexane for a patient post-op for NOF who developed bilateral DVT cos the other reg wasn't sure cos of her condition. I wasn't sure if i should've called the reg but i didn't want the patient to develop PE overnight and xxx and the reg gave me his mobile numb anyway (although he maybe regretting it now).
Today's highlight
NOT feeling fatigued after a whole day of running around (7:20am - 7:40pm)
