these last couple of days, my consultants haven't been on-call. my pt list's down to around 13! really happy. even had the time to go to theatre - got to use the screw-driver to remove the screws holding an intramedullary nail and helped to strap a lady's arm to her body with a pillow under her armpit because her shoulder arthoplasty has an unsteady dislocation and abduction+internal rotation of the shoulder was the only way to keep the humeral head in the glenoid part.

In case you guys are worried about me, yesterday i actually managed to have a whole hour for lunch with some of the other interns. We "sneaked" off acrossed the road and had a proper lunch at a cafe. And i didn't get paged even once during that time!!!!! but kept checking my pager cos i was worried that the battery must've gone flat.

My consultants are on-call for at least the next 4 days. Should be fun. don't mind some action.
