Hospital food
Last friday at 11pm, i did something that MO's are "forbidden" to do. I ate patient food!!! some pt didn't touch their food and the nurse was just going to take it downstairs (for it to be thrown out!!!!) then he realised that i probably didn't have lunch +/- dinner...dunno why some patients are so picky bout hospital food. they're getting free medical treatment (thru Medicare) as well as getting free food! There's been many times when i have no time for lunch (or dinner), but have to go see patient at their meals or walk past trolley-fulls of warm food. that's no pleasant feeling.
reckon hospitals should provided MO's free food. but guess the question is where do you stop? do nurses get them too? what about the physios, OT, admin people, wardsmen, cleaners??
